Dr. Saghier, is board certified in General Pediatrics and specializes in the field of Pediatric Gastroenterology. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the Wolfson Childrens Hospital in Florida and fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at SUNY Downstate Hospital in Brooklyn NY.
Her commitment to medical education and patient care is exemplified by the numerous accolades she has to her name. She has authored numerous articles published in different journals in her field of specialization and has also given several presentations at professional society meetings both nationally and internationally. She can speak several languages, including English, Hindi, Urdu.
Dr. Saghier is experienced in dealing with spectrum of gastroenterology issues, ranging from simple to complicated diseases including Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Ulcerative Colitis, Crohns Disease), Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Food Allergies, Nausea and Vomiting, Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome/Abdominal Migraines, Functional Abdominal Pain, Dysphagia (swallowing difficulty), TPN and Gastrostomy dependent kids, Reflux, underweight, Constipation, Celiac Disease, Upper and Lower GI bleed, Food Impaction, Intestinal Motility etc. Also has special interest in basic Hepatobiliary cases such as Cholestasis/jaundice. She performs various general procedures such as upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, stricture dilatation, foreign body removal, variceal banding, etc.
